Monday, October 18th, 2004 - LA ROCCO, HAROLD W.

Harold W. La Rocco, 61, of Mamaroneck, died on October 15, 2004 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa (nee Vitti) and two sons: Andrew (wife, Michelle) and David (wife, Veronique) and grandchildren: Lauren and Jonathan. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Raymond La Rocco.Harold was born December 22, 1942 to the late Edith and Sonney La Rocco. Harold graduated Mamaroneck High School 1960. A graduate of Westchester Business Institute and Westchester Community College. He was employed by I.B.M., Somers, NY for many years. In 1965, Harold became a member of Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department Mamaro Engine & Hose Co. #1, and in 1975 became a Chief of the department. In 1982-1987, a member of Mellor Engine & Hose Co. #3 of Port Chester in 1976 Founding member Mamaroneck Rescue Squad Member Kiwanis Club and Republican Committee.

Reposing at O’Neill Funeral Home of Mamaroneck, Inc. Sunday 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Funeral Services Monday 10 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Rye, NY. Please no flowers. Would appreciate donations to Mamaroneck Fire Dept. Scholaship Fund or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
