Tarrytown -Multi Alarm Fire - 11/24/07

Location: 119 Cobb Lane (Off of Route 9)

Frequency: 156.225 / 46.26 / Trunked Fire 14

Units Operating: Tarrytown FD (All) / Sleepy Hollow FD 2311, 2312, 2313, E85 / Irvington FD 2202, FAST, R49, E178 / Pocantico Hills FD T12 / WCDES Battalion 14 / Tarrytown EMS / Greenburgh Civil Defense Cascade U446 / C&O Zone 3 / Irvington EMS / Ardsley FAST (E165) / Ossining E99 & L42

Description Of Incident: Fire throughout & out the roof in a 2 1/2 wood frame with water problems. Exterior operation.

To Tarrytown: Elmsford E237 & Dobbs Ferry TL23

To Sleepy Hollow: Ossining E99 (At 11:50 E97 sent to cover, E99 to the scene)

To Irvington: Hastings 2181 & E44

Ossining 2332, 2334, E99 & SHFD TL38 handled a CO Investigation at 16 Andrews Lane around 10:30.

11:00 - Update from Onlocation (O/S) - Fire still going, crews resuming interior operations. A water supply off the Sleepy Hollow system established.

11:25 - Ardsley FAST to the scene.

11:50 - Ossining Engine (E99) & Ladder (L42) to the scene.

Frequency: Trunk Fireground 14

Units Operating: Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow. Pocantico Tanker, E237 & TL 21 to S/B Tarrytown HQ, Ossining Engine S/B Sleepy Hollow.

Description Of Incident: SFD, 2.5 stories. Fire in attic, through the roof. Extended to 2nd floor. 3 Lines in operation. No Exposure problems. Problems with Water supply. Status update from Batt 14 to 60 Control @ 09:38

09:52 Status Report to 60 Control - Water supply established (along Route 9). Switching to Exterior operations. Fire still doubtful at this time.

10:00 Greenburgh 446 Cascade to the scene (via the links?)

10:28 Status Report to 60 Control - Resuming interior operations, 3 lines in use, still doubtful. Requesting C&O to the scene.

11:29 Ardsley FAST to scene (via Wilson Park Dr - Rt 9 Blocked)

11:41 Engine from Hastings to Irvington (Irvington must be committed - but I haven't heard where)

11:43 Ossining Engine & Ladder to the scene (for manpower)
