Electrician arrested at 911 center

GOSHEN — A man was taken away in handcuffs today while on the job at the new 911 center.

According to police, Jacob Blaha, of Bloomingburg, stole a laptop valued at more than $1,000 from the site. Blaha, 30, who worked as an electrician there, was arrested at noon, police said.

Police also found marijauna in his vehicle.

Blaha’s charges include fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, fourth-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, all felonies.
