Any idea how many departments were there? from the looks of it, it took a little more than scarsdale fd

Is SFC and SFD the same thing I assume that's scarsdale and why are there coats different colors if they are scarsdale.

not sure , But I know Fairview FD sent Tele-Sqirt 1 to the scene. Hartsdale FD was probably on scene as well.

The Ladder trucks are both Scarsdale FD apparatus- Snorkel and Ladder 28 but retired now.

Is SFC and SFD the same thing I assume that's scarsdale and why are there coats different colors if they are scarsdale.

Scarsdale has different "FIRE COMPANIES" numbered 1,2 ect - SFC is for company.

I believe that the current SFD Chief was at that fire as a probie on the initial 2 1/2 that went in the front door.

Oh thanks yeah I knew C stood for company I just didn't know why they would have two different coats with two different abbreviations .
