Ridgefield, CT hiring

The Town of Ridgefield is accepting applications for the positions of Firefighter/EMT-I and Firefighter/Paramedic until 4pm Monday April 28, 2008.

No previous Firefighting experience required. But must possess a valid Connecticut EMT or EMT-P License, a valid drivers license and current CPAT.

Starting pay $42K/yr. Written test to be held May 3, 2008. For more info go to http://www.ridgefieldct.org/content/46/74/166/default.aspx or Town of Ridgefield Human Resources Dept. An application fee of $40.00 will be assessed.

If you are not currently an EMT-I they are still accepting EMT applications. You must be willing and able to complete EMT-I upon appointment.
