Engine-45 arrived on scene with heavy smoke showing from a four story 100x200 church, placed all hands in service. Command reported heavy fire conditions through out, requested all companies to evacuate the building and go in service with heaviest water lines. The fire reached seven alarms as the building became fully involved.

A dwelling approximately half of a block away caught fire. Crews had heavy fire third floor rear and roof of a three story M/O/R, used companies on the sixth alarm to knock the fire. A snorkel was placed in service two block away for ember patrol.
