Firehouse off of Dobbs Ferry Road In Greenburgh

5 posts in this topic

Everytime I go into White Plains I always pass this Firehouse that I have no idea who it is. It's off of Dobbs Ferry Road, In Greenbergh, and 9A is in back of it, or to the side of it. There is a golf range right accross the street a couple of hundred ft down. I remember seeing the trucks one time, it was green. And I287 is right down the road from there.

Ya, this firehouse was built around 1959 or so to provide better protection in the growing Worthington area of Greenburg. Currently Fairview keeps the Mack Tower, the Pierce Enforcer, and the Pierce Arrow at this station.
