Ambulance Strikes and injured a Girl Crossing Street

Trying to find a written news item, but ABC news at noon is reporting an ambulance going lights and sirens struck a girl crossing the street in a crosswalk. They transported her to King's County hospital where she died of her injuries. The ambulance is reported as belonging to New York Presbyterian. More to come.

Eyewitness NewsBROOKLYN -- A teenage girl was struck by an ambulance while crossing an intersection in the Midwood section of Brooklyn this morning.

The 15-year-old girl was struck at the intersection of Coney Island Avenue and Avenue K just after 8:30 a.m.

The girl was hit by an ambulance operated by New York Presbyterian, according to police.

Emergency workers from the ambulance scooped up the girl's body and rushed her to Kings County Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.

as per the news cast she is alive and in stable condition...

BROOKLYN -- A teenage girl was struck by an ambulance while crossing an intersection in the Midwood section of Brooklyn Monday morning.

The 13-year-old girl was struck at the intersection of Coney Island Avenue and Avenue K just after 8:30 a.m.

She was hit by an ambulance operated by New York-Presbyterian, according to police.

Although it was previously reported that Janeyshaa Benn was killed in the crash, she is still alive and listed in stable at Kings County Hospital. Her parents have asked the hospital to provide no further information on her condition.
