Mahopac Falls Fire 6/28

Does anyone have any other info on the Fall's fire last night. I know they requested 3 ambulances and 911 advised both Stat Flight helicopters were avalible. Were they injurys or ware they just for rehab ??

No fire department related injuries, one pt transpt BLS to PHC, was removing homeowner from house at time of fire and fell injuring his back.

Pt fell down outside stairs pulling another pt out of house. Multiple firefighter in rehab for overheating. No firefighter was transported.

Very hot fire, awesome knock down by the Falls and the mutual aid departments.

And acouple hours later, we got hit for the Head on PIAA w/ entrapment which turned out to be a DOA... So it was a long and busy night in The Falls...

Yet again another great stop by the Falls.

As for injuries at the fire, it escalated pretty fast.

State Police were the first to confirm it.

M/A was started and two ambulances and two medics were requested. Then a third ambulance.

As for the 'Order of Battle"

Mahopac Falls: 19-1-1(IC), 1-3, 4-2, 4-3, 6-1, 7-1

Putnam Valley Fire: 24-1-1, 1-3, 2-1(All stand by at Mahopac Falls HQ)

Putnam Valley VAC: 34-7-2

Putnam 35Medic2 & 35Medic3

Frequencies: 46.38, 46.54, 46.44, 155.205, FG-3(I believe), 46.26
