Snow Removal at the Firehouse

At least we can say that this winter is officially over...

Yup, the night before last on the way home from work I heard one of the universal sounds of spring----peepers! Usually that indicates the end of the snow!!!!!

Don't be so sure. Was it last year or the year before that we got several inches of snow in the first week of MAY. My shovels will stay out ....for now. Tho I am optomistic that spring is here. I love Spring (allergies aside).

I HONESTLY FEEL THAT THE APRONS NEED NOT TO BE DONE ASAP. WHATS THE SENCE TO RUSHING TO DO A FIREHOUSE WITH THE ROADS THAT ARE SNOW COVERED. WHATS MORE IMPORTANT A HILL OR MAIN ROAD THAT A RIG HAS TO DRIVE THROUGH IN TRAFFIC OR A 5 FOOT PIECE OF APRON .ID RATHER HAVE A CLEAN STREET
