LAUNCH 5

Please be advised that the Launch 5 Education and Search and Rescue Foundation will be hosting a Thermal Imaging Drill on Thursday, September 4, 2008, 1900 Hrs at the Shattimuck Yacht Club located in Ossining NY.

Representatives from FLIR Systems will be demonstrating a Thermal Imaging system for the use in maritime search and rescue and other missions. Embedded below are the particulars from FLIR systems regarding funding and the equipment to be used in the 4 September drill:

FLIR Systems Inc

Commercial Visions Systems, Maritime

We have a variety of maritime thermal imagers to meet the needs and budgets of a variety of law enforcement and search/rescue units. We have systems starting in the $5,000 range and we have resources in house to help law enforcement agencies request DHS grant funding and we're happy to provide that assistance to any agency interesting in pursuing it.

For the demo, we will plan to bring our Navigator II, Voyager, SeaFLIR, and FlashSight products (see attached data sheets). Please read the 1st attachment titled "AppNote_MaritimeLawEnforcement" as it really highlights the practical applications of thermal imaging systems for your line of work. On Sept 4th, we will show you first hand the incredible benefit that our products can provide for maritime LE and search/rescue - particularly in man overboard situations.

Itinerary for the drill is as follows:

1900 Hrs. Sign in, credentials check, refreshments

1930 Hrs. Introduction of instructors, agencies and their representatives

1935 Hrs. Equipment lecture, mission briefing and funding alternatives

2000 Hrs. Underway on Launch 5 for search and rescue drill

2130 Hrs. Mission debriefing, critique and attendance certificates

*Note. Lecture and mission times are approximated and may be adjusted accordingly to fit the needs of the group. Any changes in time etc will be forwarded to interested parties planning to attend.

Kindly respond to the embedded email address's no later than August 31, 2008. Included in your response should be your organization, contact data and the full spelling of the participants in your group.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to seeing you on the 4th.
