2nd Alarm House fire Happy Valley Australia

Crews From Happy Valley and Clarendon CFS along with STN 42 and 43 from the MFS for mutual aid were alerted to a house fire at 1627 at Happy Valley, on route Happy Valley Pumper tansmitted 2nd alarm which alerted Morphett vale as well as Happy Valleys 2nd appliance and Car 3.

At 1632 Happy Valley Pumper arrived to find a house well involved and spreading to exposures, thanks to an aggressive knockdown the fire was contained to the one property.

Nice pics just curious is that 2 1/2 for nurse tanker is that a norm for down there?

Yes the biggest delivery hose we carry is 2 1/2, we also carry 5" suction hose for use from portable dams and waterways etc.

Thanks, was some john wayne time for the first 5 mins until the second due arrived.
