Roosevelt 63-14 at the water source on Creek Rd., had lay 2300' of 5" LDH in a relay to Highland 31-10 which then had a 800' lay of 5" LDH in the relay to supply Arlington 32-14 which then supply a 5" LDH supply line up the street to the scene . Great Job done by all.

Nice shots men! You guy's had all the fire and sunshine..... I had the heavy overcast and little fire....... :( I got their about 45 minutes into the incident....... Here are mine....

Yes, Fairviews Marion Engine is a nice rig...... Here it is on hydrant duty feeding one of at least three 5" lines to the scene.....

Here's all the fire I saw...... I know they had a lot more initially...... Interior crews came out and told me that they could hear the fire burning above them but couldn't get at it shortly after I took this shot.....

Interior crews come out for an exchange of information and ideas with IC .....

The weather was lousy when I was there..... It was not very good weather for photographs..... Here the sun tries to burn through the cloud cover as Poughkeepsie Ladder 2's crew waits for their water to be restored....

Here a couple of Fairview firefighters wanted me to remind you that you need to "Buckle-up" for safety ;)

There was a canteen truck that was serving the plant workers when the fire broke out...... It became "hose locked" and was unable to leave as a result...... They then began serving Firefighters for free I understand.... A nice gesture..... Here a Firefighter places his order......

The food looked and smelled good.....

Time to move some lines.......

501425875_spcd8-XL.jpg

There was a "city kitty" that emerged from under the building........ It appeared to have a burn on its head but nobody ran to it's aid.... Not sure why :o

Time to move the portable monitor......
