Description Of Incident: Inturrupted home invasion robbery, assault.

2302hrs- Caller from inside the home reporting a home invasion in progress. Hastings, Greenburgh enroute.

2304hrs- Hotline for assistance from Yonkers ESU to scene. Caller rpts suspects trying to open a safe.

2306hrs- Units on scene giving a signal 10-13 (Officer needs assistance), Officers fighting with suspects in house.

2308hrs- Numerous Yonkers units on location, perps have fled into the woods at the rear. (1) suspect in custody with handgun recovered. Req. WCPD and NYPD Aviation.

2315hrs- Greenburgh PD have secured the home. Yonkers ESU and K-9 conducting searches. Numerous departments holding a perimeter from Donald Drive to Jackson Ave/Cemetary. Greenburgh K-9 setting up for searches.

0100hrs- Greenburgh releasing mutual aid units.
