Please keep the Fire/Rescue community of the Grand Strand in your thoughts and prayers. This is a terrible tragedy and it has really hit us hard.

Wow, how sad indeed. The Med-Helicopter service is used a great deal in that area, going between Horry County and Charletson, SC, where the nearest Level 1 Trama Center is located. Many retirees live in that area (in fact my Mom lives in Horry County, SC), and with the Myrtle Beach area growing so fast, as a recreational/vacation area, the Medivac/Helicopter Service is used a great deal.

Let's keep our hearts and prayers out there for the victims and their families.
