1957 Mack B Model

3 posts in this topic

My 1957 B Model Mack's restoration is nearly complete. I need to find a reliable way to transport it from PA to FL.

I would like to give the business to someone who is involved with the fire service or is at least a supporter of the service. I have a CDL but do not own the equipment to make the move. I could be a second driver if needed.

I would prefer it to travel on an air-ride trailer.

Please PM me if you know of someone who may be interested.

Is that the IKE rig? I have ex PCFD 1957 B-95 #1070

Yes it's the "General Ike". Pictures to be shared soon. Old pics linked below from my college FD. Slime lime is how I rode on it to calls as our third due engine until the 1998 HME/Smeal quint was purchased. Other pic with General Eisenhower is how the engine looks once again post restoration.

Gettysburg Fire Department Website Go to museum then collection to view.
