Location: Midtown near the Marriot Marquis Hotel(Times Square).

Units Operating: Multi NYPD uniformed,plainclothes,ESU, Detectives

Weather Conditions: Clear

Description Of Incident:A plainclothes detective was fired upon

mutiple times, and returned fire striking the suspect fatally.

Area cordened off, and an investigation is on going. The officer

was not injured.
