Is any of the older rigs still around, like the Reo or the 40's Ford ?

Ah.... memories. My first run was M/A to Chelsea, cold winter day in '76. Fire in a bar on 9D. They still had the Howe back then. What year did the Seagrave arrive? Couldn't have been too much after that. Herb Muller, Jim Tompkins and Mike Cabrerra were the primary drivers.....

When I was a kid my uncle was assistant chief in Chelsea and I remember my cousin and me running around the firehouse and climbing on the La France engine and Attack1! Good memories!!

I never realized that Chelsea had a Seagrave. Wow. What years were it in service?

We had the Seagrave from 1976 - 1993

Yea my dad did drive a lot, Herb is up in Warrensburg he drives for them occasionally. Mike is around but he has a bad back so he has been retired for years now.
