Dutchess Plans more job Cut Backs

County Executive Steinhaus plans on cutting more Dutchess County Sheriff/Corrections positions out of his budget... Taking school resource officers out of the schools??? Seriously we have enough problems in the schools as it is. Look at Newburgh for example, (No knock on Newburgh) the officers in the schools are the best things we have going right now.

The rumor mill in the Dutchess County Emergency Services is that Executive Steinhaus will also cut the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division. A very valuable and frequently used asset to Dutchess County.

How about some of you politicians take a Pay Cut. This is not a time to cut emergency funding.
