lines stretched and operating... and special call... this was technically a 2nd alarm with the special call of 3 additional engines.... could almost be concidered a 3rd or even a 4th alarm beign 2 engines go in on every alarm assigment over a 1st... there were just no additional ladders requested..

I believe you are misunderstanding their transmissions.

Battalion 2 - 8 is "Battalion 2 - Aide". Yonkers Batalions respond with an A/C and a driver (Battalion Aide).
