No 911 call right away. The homeowner tried the garden hose method first. Thank God for nosey neighbors

Extremely heavy fire upon arrival. Looks like one hell of a job done by the boys from Elmsford. Great job guys!

Now I read in the CAFS thread that you guys are running Class A on your first in hand-lines, was that applied here? If so, do you think it had any effect on the outcome? General question, no hidden motive.

Edit: Kudos to the engine guys for leaving room for the truck as well.

Great move pulling the gable vent instead of putting guys on a sleeply pitched roof!

Any fire, vehicle structure or other(i.e. dumpsters etc) the Class A foam line is stretched.Being on that line in structure fires and such it definitely makes a world of difference. It has helped us save structures from becoming fully involved and it helps blanket everything so there's no chance of a re-kindle of any kind. Definitely a valuable tool Class A foam.
