Members,

Please don't start discussions based on photos posted in a thread in any of our "Photo Gallery" subsections. Most of our photographers share their photos here so people can enjoy their work and see the visuals of the incident, apparatus, or whatever they may post..

When a discussion starts based on the posted photos, it discourages our contributing photographers from posting. They don't share their photos to critique the incident or whatever is in the photo. And departments become hesitant to allow true fire photographers on scene or their apparatus for posting on this site.

If you want to start a discussion on the INCIDENT OR APPARATUS itself (NOT based on the photos), please start a seperate thread in the appropriate local forum.

The result of not following the request above.....we're going to see less and less photos being posted. Since we strongly value our photographers contributions and photos are a very important part of our site, we are going to be very strict on this issue.
