University of Maryland Police Defend Tornado Warnings

The article ran on Fox News highlights the University of Maryland Police's decision to initiate a Tornado Warning based on what they believed was credible information from AccuWeather even though the NWS had only issued a watch. It highlights some interesting issues. Had they sat on the information and NWS been wrong and AccuWeather been right fingers would have been pointed for the blame of possible loss of life. The real issue here is when is it being proactive and when is it the boy who cried wolf?
