I saw this article in last weekends (10/13/11) USA Weekend Sunday Section. Brian Williams of NBC News grew up buffing fires in his hometown with his Father. He joined the local Volunteer Fire Department when he became eligible. The article is looking for people to do volunteer service in their own communities.
