4 CHILDREN DIE IN FIRE AS HOME RAZED

ELMSFORD, N. Y., April 7 1947 - Four children were burned to death today in a fire which destroyed their home.

Mrs. George Brown, mother of three of the victims, was awakened shortly after 5 a. m. by flames. Patrolman John McMahon said she did not receive an answer from the telephone operator when she tried to call the fire department, rushed outside and sent in an alarm from a fire box.
