Impressive?...almost everything on the web site is a lie. The association does not own any fire trucks, and they are not the fire department yet they say the are on the site.

No they don't...the Mohegan Fire district does

Next...a list of their apparatus....actually no..that is the lake mohegan district apparatus.

A list of their stations...no..they are the district stations...

The lake mohegan fire district and the vol. fire association are 2 seperate organizations. The assoc. is a social org. that only owns HQ and rents it to the district. They would like you to believe they are one and the same. They control the ambulance..well in a quasi way...the district does not have anything to do with the ambulance corps.

Lies? Really? I don't see that. As far as I know, the members of the Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association are the ones whom provide the fire/rescue services to their community. The "District" and it's equipment are of no use without those whom use them. IE - the MVFA. If the Association is only a Social organization, then whom are the ones anwering all of their calls?! Get a grip, pal.
