Hopewell Junction Man Killed After MVA in Somers

SOMERS — A Dutchess County man died and a Connecticut man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 202, state police said today.

The accident happened about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at Route 202 and Old Croton Falls Road when a sport-utility vehicle collided with a pickup truck.

Police said Barry Myslim, 47, of Hopewell Junction was heading south on 202 in a 2005 Jeep SUV when it crossed into the opposite lane and struck a northbound 1999 Ford pickup truck driven by a 41-year-old Waterbury, Conn., man identified as Miguel Hernandez.
