Description Of Incident: A several-alarm fire at a deli has closed the Greenwood Lake Turnpike early Friday morning, police said.

The fire erupted about 4:30 a.m. at Jesse’s Country Deli, at 1603 Greenwood Lake Turnpike. Police have not reported any injuries.

Authorities closed Greenwood Lake Turnpike and Route 511 from Marshall Hill Road to Awosting Road. Police expect the roads to remain closed for several hours as the fire department battles the blaze.
