Construction to begin for Millwood Firehouse in July.

Dear Millwood Fire District Neighbor,

We are excited to share with you news about the new firehouse.

• Groundbreaking and construction on the new firehouse is scheduled to begin mid-July, 2013.
• The District received a favorable rating of AA2 from Moody’s. In April, the District issued a 25-year bond with an interest rate is 2.75%. This interest rate was well below our budget.
• The Board is scheduled to approve the base bids received for construction of the new firehouse at our 6/24/13 monthly meeting. The total of the bids that are to be accepted is $10,084,282.69, over $61,000 below budget.

Once started, construction is estimated
