Fire Inspector, part time, up to 20 hours per week.
The Town of Poughkeepsie is seeking an experienced Fire Inspector to work part time permanent because of expansion and growth.

The work involves responsibility for the thorough inspection of new and existing dwellings, factories, schools, business establishments, colleges and other facilities for compliance with fire prevention and fire safety standards. Inspects, reviews sites and building plans, investigates susicious fires to determine cause, receives and investigates complaints, maintains records and performs all related work activites.

Must have a current, valid NYS Motor Vehicle license.
and Special training and certification requirement required under Section 159A of the NYS Executive Law.
