Memorial Info for Richard Cadigan, Rye FD

It is with great sadness that I share with you the details of the local memorial gathering for my friend and fellow ex-Captain of the Poningoe Hook and Ladder Co. (City of Rye), Richard F. Cadigan, Jr. 

Rich tragically lost his life on January 31, 2019, one day before his 62nd birthday. A native of Maryland, Rich joined the Rye FD after moving to the City with his wife. They would go on to raise their son in Rye and over his 17+ years in the Ladder Company Rich held offices including Secretary, Lieutenant, Captain and Warden. He will be remembered for his smile, his handshake and his dedication to his family and the fire service.

 

Family and friends will gather in Richard’s memory on Saturday February 23rd from 12-2pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E. Boston Post Rd Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Memorial donations can be sent to Autism Speaks.
