Description Of Incident: General Alarm

Around 9:10 AM, Croton PD dispatched a Minor Alarm to the Quarker Bridge Road for an outside smoke investigation. Chief Vlad (Car 2081) arrived, he was informed by CPD that a house near the corner of Niles Road was charged with smoke. Based on this info, Chief Vlad had General Alarm transmitted, bringing Engines 119 & 120 into the scene. Engine 118's crew made entry into the unoccpied home and located the souce, wich was a faulty oil burner. Engine 119's crew assisted with the ventillation of the and contained a small oil leak in the basement. All compaines and nearly 30 members on the secne cleared within 20 minutes.
