SOMERS- Fatal MVA

Location- Route 100 just north of Plum Brook Road

Units Operating: SOMERS- C2441, C2444, C2445, E180, E185, R20, U5, 80B1, 80B2, 80B3; WEMS 45M2, 45M3; Putnam Medic 3; Air 1, Air 2. DES Batt 13, NYSP, Somers PD, NYC DEP PD, and assistace from GBFD C2141.

Katonah FD E117 and North Salem VAC on stand-by in thier qtrs.

2 vehicle head-on MVA (1 passenger car, and 1 pick-up truck). All 4 Rescue tools in operation- Hurst Jaws, Spreaders, Combi-tool and the Power Hawk. Extrication required from both vehicles. Ruptured fuel tank on 1 vehicle along with fuel from landscaping equipt carried onboard.

Total of 4 Patients- 2 by air to WCMC, 1 by ground to WCMC, 1 by ground to NWHC in Traumatic Arrest.
