hiring process for FDNY

Im sure this question has been asked before about FDNY. so im sorry if im repeating

How long does it take after a interview does it take to be notified if you got the job or not? any other info would be helpful.

buddy is going for interview in Febuary. says hes in the 2700's on the list

buddy of mine went in for his interview, and I don't think it was more than 6 or 8 weeks before he knew what was going on.

if u just got your packet and are going for your interveiw expect to get on the job in anywhere from 8 to 12 months just stay in shape and stay sharp. good luck
