“To Be or Not To Be” Immobilized

Spinal Immobilization & Special Considerations

Course Description:

Please join Guy Peifer, EMT-P/CIC/RF for the who’s, what’s, where’s, why’s, and how’s of spinal immobilization. Myths will be busted. Facts will be found. The participant will leave this session with a thorough understanding of protocols, procedures, and methods of application for appropriate management of the suspected spinal injury patient.

This course may be applied toward Trauma or General Elective CME hours under the NY State DOH EMS Continuing Education Recertification Program.
