Was the fire confined to just the one back room (3-4 side / top floor)?
yes, we contained it to the master bedroom in the CD corner and it had just broken through to the attic but didnt get to run on us. the fire self vented through the skylights, which i believe helped it from coming out of the fire room.

the Roosevelt fire dept. will never be quite the same. Vince will be deeply missed and has touched everybody he has ever come to know. On behalf of RFD i would like to thank everybody for their concerns and sympathies through this very difficult time.
Rest In Peace Brother. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and members of the Roosevelt Fire Dept.
Please keep us updated with funeral arrangements
I will as soon as any details are known

its tough to tell from the picture, but is the nozzle hooked directly to the discharge on the front bumper? If so do you know why?

That is a great picture! Now if they could just get a grant to replace those 'scuba' 2.2's!i could be wrong but i think those are just training packs

I agree with Jetphoto, it is very nice to have a "back up set" however my dept has approx 100 members and there would be no way to fit that in the budget. I am one of the few that is lucky enough to have a personal set of gear that I found on ebay for the right price, so after any incident i can have my stuff washed or dry properly without being out of service for that time. But that is a double edged sword, while my dept allows us to wear personal gear, if it gets damaged or destroyed they are not responsible to replace it....

What is the name of the business? You should inform him of a site such as this where information is exchanged, and if they don't exchange the helmet they can expect less business.I dont fault the business and I would not like to slant anyone here. I can understand the reasoning because like i said it was a gift and I have no receipt for it, I realize the need to protect your business from fraud....

hi all,
I have a brand new black leather N5A still in the box. Size is large it was given to me as a gift however I wear a medium and it does not fit, and the store where it was bought will not exchange it. I am asking $400. PM me for any further info
Thanks

Looks good. I have to agree though that directional in the back is kinda small.well between the rear of the light bar the mini strip in the back window and there are also what looks like TIR 3 on either side of the box with the hatch open. I would also assume they have strobes or something in the brake lights

Not to hijack the thread, but it seems like most people are very eager to get into 911 and don't like transports as much - which is understandable. Do any companies allow medics to just do transports on their ambulance?i cant speak for any other agency but i know at transcare that is a scheduler's dream lol its always seems transport shifts are the last to fill

Looks nice.. I always loved those Ford Cs. What department is it from originally (As I would be willing to bet it came from Ray...LOL.. surprised it doesn't have one of those FU lights on the front)When you're done with it you should send it just a little south (as long as the diesel tank is secure... LMAO!)
you are correct there turbo lol but it originally came from water witch CT which is one of the vol. depts in the city of danbury
