  12. Hopefully someone can answer this two part question. 1. Can a NYC CFR & EMT work or volunteer as such outside of NYC? Specifically, Westchester / Putnam? 2. FDNY Recruit training is obviously more intense and covers a ton more then FF 1. If you have FDNY guys in your department as volunteers(!), how does your department handle required training for each step of the rank ladder? How do you decide which classes can be 86'd because that guy is on the job in FDNY? For example, if you require FF1 and Survival, I doubt they need to take it, but what about specialty stuff such as HMFRO, AVET, TCO, FAST, and Officer classes? Thanks.
