Not yet- it was just an idea thrown out and being one of the chairs of our 75th Ann committee, tryin to hear from depts who have done it before and know what is involved... But im sure there has to be something along those lines thats gonna be involved...

Im trying to get some help/info to poss do a Las Vegas Night at my FD for a fundraiser- info regarding companies out there to rent equipment, dealers, etc... Also if any dept has done one before and has any helpful tips, all info would be awesome (Pros & Cons)....

Jim- I know Mahopac Falls approved 1 team and the Mack, whether the money/check has been sent to you, I'm not sure, I will check and get back but as of now you can count on 1 and 1 from the Falls...

I recently had some time over there to check it out during a standby.. And it is a very well thought out rig. You need to see the inside to get a good feeling of how practical it is. Good luck with it to YHFD dive team..

You guys missed out because we had some really good Burgers and Wings

with a few Drinks. Damien from the Claddagh was very welcoming

and happy to have us. 20% off the entire check. How can you beat that?

We did notice a few Mahopac and Mahopac Falls Firefighters who were at the

Claddagh for a Birthday Party. Even a couple FDNY Firefighters and some

guys from PCSO. If anyone else came for EMTBravo??? Speak now because we didn't see you.

In closing I can only hope for a better turnout on Saturday April 11th when we go to the

NY Firehouse Grille in Peekskill.

Ladder- since this is our first year doing the show, we decided to stick with just cars, but depending on how things go for the nexts years, the ideas of allowing bikes and and fire trucks are in the mix... All depends on how things go this year...

As of now- we are limited to about 120 cars for this year, we maybe able to squeeze couple more cars in when we see how things lay out the day of the show; so if you are interested in putting a car in the show, just think about pre registering: $10 before June 1st and $15 after/day of the show...

Like I said in my original post awhile ago- If anyone is interested in entering a car in our show, please pm me with your address and I will send you a reg form... If anyone has any questions, just feel free to ask any one of us from The Falls, and we will get an answer for yah- Hope to see some of you on the 14th...

Also- fyi, there will be a golf outing in august, for any of the golfers on the site...

Ahh the hat kept me nice and warm... As for the ice- it was about 5-7 inches thick, and mostly nice and smooth for nice easy ride with the hovercraft... This is the 2nd year MFVFD has hosted this drill for LCFD Explorers, and we were able to have Brewster Explorers join us this year- like many of the explorers have said its a good day of training cover many different aspects of the winter season emergencies...

As for the lil mva vs Bennie- he didnt move quick enough, but hes fine...

RIP Rich- gonna miss yah buddy... He was just voted into the Mahopac Falls VFD and was suppose to get sworn in this Wednesday, seemed very excited to get going with it! What a great loss to the FD&EMS Field!!!!

Any one have updates on the condition of the Mahopac Falls firefighter hurt last week?

Haven't heard much excpet he is still in critical condition down at WMC. Acouple of the guys will be heading down today to see how he is doing, but what I have heard he isnt in the clear yet.
