  1. Mahopac Falls (Putnam): Took delivery to a 2015 F-350 Extended Cab, 6ft bed Chiefs Vehicle- done by NYCOMCO & in the beginning phases to replace our 2001 PL Custom Ambulance & 1992 Mack Tanker

Mahopac Falls VFD will be holding our annual Car, Truck & Bike Show on Sunday, June 1st Rain Date: Sunday, June 8th, 2014 Registration: 8:30am until 11:30am Show: Noon to 3:00pm Trophies and Raffles awarded 3:00/3:30pm ... Registration Fees: Pre-Reg is $15.00 post marked before May 23rd After May 23rd is $20.00 All Entrants will receive a goodie bag upon entering the event at Registration; first 100 vehicles will receive a Dash Plaque along with your bag. Along with your goodie bag- all owners will receive a raffle ticket which enters just the vehicle owners into multiple door prize raffles that go off during the show. Trophies: Best in Show, Chief's Choice, President's Choice, People's Choice, 1st 2nd 3rd Place for Best 1930s & Older, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000's, & 2010 and Newer, & then for the Motorcycles- Top 3 Street Bikes & Top 3 Choppers/Cruisers... *** We are also looking for vendors for the day of the show, if interested in a vendor spot, please let me know*** Raffle Chances are $5.00 Drawing will be done the day of the show Prizes: $1000.00 Prize, 46" LED TV, & $250.00 *All members will have tickets, so if interested please see one of them; they are also being sold the day of the show* T-Shirts: We will be ordering a limited number of Car Show T-Shirts (Adult Sm-2XL), they will be first come, first serve- $15.00 per shirt. Team; NYSEG; Carmel PD; NYS OFPC K-9 Frequency: 46.38 Dispatch Weather Conditions: Dusk, Warm & Clear Reporters:brian19fd Description: Mahopac Falls dispatched for reported structure fire, multiple calls- Chiefs arriving on scene with heavy smoke coming from the B-side of the structure. Single Story Wood Frame Structure- Entry team & Ops Chief found heavy fire in the side bedroom with fire making it's way into the main hallway. Fire contained to the two locations with smoke and water damage to the rear side of the structure. K9 requested to scene due to suspicious nature. Date: 10-31-2012 Time: 01:49 Location: 124 Bullet Hole Rd, Mahopac NY Frequency: 46.38 Putnam Dispatch Units Operating: Mahopac Falls: 19-1-1, 1-2 (IC), 1-3, 2-1(source engine), 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 6-1, 7-2; Mahopac: 18-1-2, 18-4-1 (originally sent to relocate to MFVD Stat 1 but then requested into the scene); Putnam Valley: 24-1-3, 6-1 (FAST); Putnam County Fire Investigation Team; Putnam County Car 4; NYSEG; CPD *Somers: Eng 180 on the relocate to MFVFD Stat 1 Weather Conditions: Partly Cloudy Description Of Incident: Working Structure Fire- 2 story wood frame structure; 19-1-2 arriving on scene stating heavy fire in the rear of the structure, start automatic mutual aid (Closest FAST & 18fd Eng relocate to MFVFD). Originally Mohegan FAST requested, unable to assemble a crew, Putnam Valley requested 2nd. 18-4-1 signed enroute and was requested into scene by IC, then requested 2nd engine to backfill- Somers E-180 handled the relocate. *While on the relocate- E-180 was dispatched for a CO Alarm, neg sympthoms @ 10 Middle Branch Rd. E-180 on scene and had confirmed CO readings, 30-50 ppm in the home; Requesting EMS to eval family with possible sympthoms- Mahopac 18-7-1 & 35-M-3 on scene & secured RMAs from family. Ventilation completed and all units clear & E-180 returned to MFVFD Stat 1 for remainder of standby All units clear the fire at 04:47 Reporters: Brian19fd

As chair of our department's anniversary, I would like to thank all the departments who stuck it out with the weather and helped celebrate with us; as well as all the spectators who sat on the sidelines watching and cheering all the departments on. I know some probally disagreed with our all call to keep the parade on, but in the end we all had a good time and see how things go in 25 years for the 100th

Date: July 6th, 2012 Time: 22:27 Location: 25 Boniello Dr Frequency: Dispatch 46.38, Fire Ground 46.30 Units Operating: Mahopac Falls: 19-1-1 IC, 1-2, 1-3, 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 4-4, 6-1, 7-2; Mahopac: 18-1-1 & 4-1 Relocated to MFVFD Stat 1; Mohegan: 226-2 & E-255 FAST; County Car 4; PC Fire Investigation Team; NYSEG; CPD Weather Conditions: Partly Cloudy, 75 degrees Description Of Incident: MFVFD dispatched for reported structure fire w/ automatic M/A for Mahopac to relocate & Mohegan's FAST. Carmel PD on scene confirming fire in side bedroom- main body of fire knocked down w/ Dry Chem. FD units arriving had fire in the wall behind exterior electrical panel- NYSEG requested to scene on the rush. Fire started to break through the wall into adjacent bedroom, but was quickly knocked down by FD crews. Fire contained to the 2 bedrooms- overhaul conducted along w/ investigation from PC-FIT. All are welcomed to attened- there will be a live dj playing throughout the day, as well as a food court preparing a wide variety of food during the breakfast and lunch hours.   21. Date: 2-6-2011 Time: 15:49 Location: 55 Somerset Ln- off of Barger St Frequency: 46.39 Dispatch, 46.50 Putnam FG 2, West Trunk Fire 17 & Fireground 1? Units Operating: Putnam Valley FD: 24-1-3 IC, 24-1-1, 24-2-1, 24-6-1, 24-8-1; Westchester County Technical Rescue Team; Putnam Valley EMS for standby on scene Weather Conditions: 27degrees and Clear Description Of Incident: Propane Tank Leak w/ later deck collapse onto the tank Reporters: brian19fd (pc417) Writer: brian19fd (pc417) -Putnam Valley units arriving on scene to a 100lb propane tank leaking in rear of the home. After duration on scene, IC requested m/a from Westchester Tech Rescue, stating they needed assistance with shoring of the rear deck. The deck collapsed due to the weight of snow and lawn furnature, and came down onto the tank- due to the safety risk and concern of the workers needing to remove the tank, the deck needed to be stabilized. West TRT & Put Valley FD still on scene working together to shore the deck. -23:02: IC24 stating the propane has been shut off and units should be on scene for approx 1/2 hr more -23:38 IC24 stating all units cleared and back in service

The breakfast will be held at our Stat 1, off of Route 6N (17 Lucarro Ln, Mahopac, NY 10541). Date: Sunday, November 14th, 2010 Time: 9:00am until 12:00pm *All you can eat buffet style breakfast* Cost: Adults- $7.00 Children- $4.00 Under 3- Eat for Free A 50/50 will be going on that day as well, so please come support your local fire department.   25. Im trying to get some help/info to poss do a Las Vegas Night at my FD for a fundraiser- info regarding companies out there to rent equipment, dealers, etc... Also if any dept has done one before and has any helpful tips, all info would be awesome (Pros & Cons)....
