  2. I was unable to attend yesterdays event but Thursday & Friday the organizer, Mike Quinn, put together photo shoots all throughout Connecticut. I attended Thursdays shoot and got a great tour of Connecticut and shot over 40 rigs. The highlight of the day was definitely a stop at Bradley International Airport to photograph all their apparatus. We also got to photograph and go up in Cromwell, CT's 100' Bronto Skylift. There were about 12 of us on the tour, met some really nice people.

I haven't had a chance to upload all the photos from the shoot, but here is what I have uploaded so far:

Ironically, Spring Valley had yet another fire early this morning, their 3rd in 4 days at the Surrey Carlton Apartments at 51 Ewing Ave. The call came in as an automatic alarm, just like the apartment fire. A few cell phone pics from the scene sent to me by a friend.

  4. Looks like good fast work by the SVFD!!!!!

It certainly was. A real good aggressive interior attack. It was the Valley's 2nd well involved structure fire in less then 12 hours. Hard to switch between photo & video. Need another set of arms. Hope the next video is a little bit longer. Thanks to Signal-12.com for the audio !

This is a really cute wedding cake topper where the bride and groom both have scopes and EMT bags with them. (they also have Police, Fire, etc...)

In my next life I will be a wedding planner, not a drug and alcohol educator!!

I agree about the wedding cake topper. I had one custom made by a woman in California. Had to e-mail the woman a photo of my helmet & turnout gear and my wifes wedding dress. She custom made it to match both of us. She did an incredible job as you can see. If you need her info, let me know, I may still have it somewhere !
