Nice job Seth! How would it look if your quad cane didn't match your walker. Just don't get carried away and paint your car lime with blue stripes.
On a serious note, hopefully you can retire 169 and 170 soon!

I can win a flashlight??? By guessing how many posts were made in ONE day??? That's hard. But, if I don't guess correctly but have 100 posts I can still get a whole 49 cents off the cost of a friggin' disposable flashlight??? WOW!!! HOLY COW!!! Now that's an incentive to post like a madman!!! Golly gee winokers!!! 49 cents!!! For a flashlight!!!
You should call this site EMTLoser.

Seth, for your first kitbash you did quite well! Naturally, the first one is always the most difficult but I'm sure you learned quite a bit. I've bought a number of blank police vehicles and decaled them for various departments. I've also removed the pad printing on some Code 3 trucks and re-decaled them for FDNY and Mount Vernon Fire Dept. Ladder 2 just to name a few. Keep at it because if you did that well on your first, I can't wait to see your next project! Just a suggestion, check out policecarmodels.com and Roadblockers.net. They both have many decal sets for police, fire and EMS including striping which looks much better than tape or painted stripes. If you buy any decals, also buy the Microsol setting solution and your decals will look great. When I figure out how to post pictures, I'll post pictures of some of my projects so you can see and judge for yourself how a fully decaled police cruiser looks using decals. Also Seth, policecarmodels.com sells Tamiya clear red, clear amber and clear blue paint for painting the lightbars and they come out excellent. Take care and feel better.

Hey,Can someone tell me where each Mount Vernon rig is housed on a regular basis? Not if one rig is O/O/S and they have to relocate until that rig comes back into service. Where they are originally housed. The reason I ask is im just trying to get more familiar with the apparatus locations.
Thanks Alot
Station 1 - E. Lincoln Ave.- Engine 6 and Ladder 2
Station 2 - So. Fulton Ave.- Engine 5 and Rescue 1
Station 3 - W. Third Street - Engine 3, Ladder 3 and Battalion
Station 4 - Oak Street - Engine 2 and Engine 4

Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Seth, you made the right decision to reopen the site. You have developed EMTBRAVO into a great website. You have worked very hard to accomplish this. I don't post too often, but I am on site 3 or 4 times a day. I can tell you that many of my fellow members at our volunteer ambulance corp. also think you have a great site. Remember one thing, no matter how hard you work at something, you will never please everyone. Don't let that get to you. The majority of the members are behind you. Thanks for your time, effort and everything you do!

I like the new look Seth. I think it looks clean and organized. We were all familiar with the old look and sometimes change is difficult, but once you use the new layout a few times, its a pleasure.

Thats correct. When I was a young boy growing up in Mt. Vernon in the 60's and 70's, Station 4 was home to Engine 1 and Engine 2.

My collection is mainly Code 3. I have about 45 Code 3 pieces. I also have 20 Corgi 1:50 scale fire apparatus, 6 First Gear International ambulances and 5 First Gear fire trucks.

Very nice job!

I am a long time Code 3 member who NEVER posted there because of all of the nonsense going on. I am still a Code 3 member and I am still actively collecting. I am very happy to see a Code 3 forum here and look forward to participating. I don't anticipate any problems here due to the excellent moderation by the EMTBRAVO staff.

Impressive! That is a beautiful rig.

So, has anyone else who ordered this model received theirs yet? What do you think of it? I think they did a great job, considering what they had to work with. Only wish they'd have added the front lettering.Hopefully TFD is happy with the results.
I recieved mine this morning and I agree that Code 3 did a great job on this piece. The front lettering would have made it that much nicer, but overall a great job.

Great shots! That Kent 16-2-1 is a real nice rig. I'd say you had a very productive day on your photo hunt.
