  1. Ive seen something like that before on an engine, but i dont recall where it was from. I like the way the pump panel on the engine i drive is, all the levers are straight across with the front lever for front discharge and and the last lever is the rear discharge and so on, some engines ive seen you really have to look at the levers to make sure your charging the right line. It also helps to have everything color coordinated thats if the colors are not close to each other. (ex. Orange and Red)

  2. the village of ossining, ny from what i hear is really becoming populated in the last few years. i drove around and saw many 2 family homes with "for rent" signs in the windows. im sure they must have 30 people living in these cut up divided homes. do you think they will ever become a paid or half paid/half volly dept? what does similar size population peekskill, ny have when it comes to paid/volly guys?

no talk about anything for the future, but ossining still is 100% volunteer

  3. Considering Squad 15 has been out of service more than it's been in, perhaps they should get E151 back and sell the new rig...

Is the new Ladder 42 even in service yet?

Not yet something happened with a part on the truck and had to get it fixed so that it would have its warrenty or something along those lines, so it was out for quite some time and finally got it back maybe a couple of weeks ago and the drivers have been training on it since just to refresh becuase its been out for so long. Rumor has it the new Tower Ladder 42 should be in service in the next couple of weeks.
