Jack, LMAO on the easy button! As for the other comment, we do take the higher road. However, no matter what we do, someone finds fault with it. These members have caused me considerable stress, and if I want to gloat about them being too ignorant to follow the rules and the consqeuences because they were to arrogant to (which also reinforces to other members), then I feel I can. We are the ones spending hours upon hours working on keeping this forum going, and if people are going to bash or taunt us publicly in a thread, I feel that we can strike back to relieve the stress a little. I don't feel it's underved or unwarranted, especially with the intesity of the attacks lately.

As it states in the forum guidelines, we reserve the right to do that. I'm not continuing this bickering with you on the thread. If you have any further complaints or issues, contact me via PM. I don't think you understand. This is to keep to members from "reviving" topics that are from 5 years ago, or bring up a topic that's been "beaten to death". Often times, these topics are outdated or irrelevant. This is to encourage fresh content, fresh information, and to invigorate fresh discussions. If no one posts in a topic for 30 days, then it is locked. Obviously, the topic has served its purpose. However, note you can request a topic be reopened if you feel that it is warranted by contacting a moderator, who, at their discretion, can reopen a topic. We are not locking active topics that are currently being discussed. I still do not understand what is "stupid"?

I'd be willing to start an EMTBravo for Bergen County, and/or NJ, if there was an interest. The main thing I would need help with would be drumming up support to recruit members and get people posting. Also, advice on how to set up the forum (by county?), and if there's another NJ forum already out there. If anyone is willling to assist me with this endeavor, PM me. If there's enough interest, maybe you'll see an EMTBravo NJ soon.....

Members- As some of you may know based on the PM's and emails I have been recieving, this forums has been having an issue with "bullies", as many of you are using that term. Any member who discount's another thoughts, views, or opinions as invalid, or attacks them for their comments, and/or takes it to a personal level, will be banned from posting after one warning. We want to encourage EVERYONE to feel free to post, ask questions, and share their thoughts and views without being afraid of another member attacking them. Any member who does that is not welcome here. If you don't agree with someone, counter their comments with a mature, factual, and rational response. Remember, please treat our conversations here as if you were in the same room with that person talking to them face-to-face. Things will get heated at times, but please also take into account we all come from different backgrounds, levels of experience, etc. Thank you for helping to keep this forum friendly, positive, and constructive. -Seth

Roof, You know that this forum DOES NOT tolerate personal attacks on other members. I don't want to do this on the thread, but you chose to speak your words on the thread. I understand some of your thoughts, but let's not treat other members of this forum like that. Let's keep things on a mature and professional level, and not drag a thread down into a personal argument. Flaming is NOT TOLERATED, and I'm leaving this up as an example. If I see flaming again, from anyone, it will result in a 30 day suspension from the forum. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and thoughts, and to be threatened for expressing them, therefore making other members question whether they should post or not, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Some of the posts on here absolutely offend me. I know what I am doing with this website, I knonw what I want to do with this website. Most people making "suggestions" are completly ignorant as to the way I do things. I have enough stress to deal with, and am not going to either bother responding except to say-what is that saying? "You think you know, but you have NO idea". To those who contributed, thank you very much for your trust and generosity. I really appreciate it, and it will help this site keep going AND FREE. It was one of the most embarrasing things I have ever had to do. I promise to continue to provide the best website I can for you once the IT issues are straightened out.

Thanks for your "advice", which I'm not going to even consider. I enjoy taking photos, and I know people on this site enjoy viewing them. It gives me something to do and helps to relieve stress. The photos are a major component of this site. HOWEVER, the donations ARE NOT for that. If you had read this thread, instead of trying to find any way you can to slip in a bash against me, again, you would know that the money I am trying to raise is to cover costs, since I can no longer afford to subidize the site out of pocket. I explained the reasons why I can no longer afford to subsidize out of my own pocket. And no, by being a "Premium Member" won't give you a right to ignore the rules of this forum. Thanks to all those who have donated so far....your generosity is greatly appreciated, and I promise when things get straigtend out EMTBravo will get even better.

I think that is an excellent idea. Once all the IT issues and everything else is straightened out, I will put it into place.

Current update: I just paid $400+ dollars to go with the new hosting solution, which will be about $270/month thereafter. I am awaiting a refund from the server company I inttially hired. Due to everyone's generosity, I was able to just scrape by and cover all the initial costs. Thank you! (But we're not out of the woods yet)

First, thanks to everyone who has donated for their tremendous generosity so far. You have no idea how much this hurts and embarrases me. I really, really appreciate that so many care about this site. I really hope I can refund some money once I determine what my new hosting costs will be. If there is anything left over, I will divide equally a refund to all those that donated. Not being able to work a second job, only getting my base salary on workers comp, common and maintanence charges on my co-op going up, gas prices (when going out to get photos), medical bills and debt, equipment, and having all these IT things thrown at me at once. My bank account is in a negative balance, credit cards maxed out, leaving me no money to make the move to a new webhost-which is why I need money right away. I've already tapped my family too much. Going foward, I need to manage my finances with this site a lot better, something that will be easier once a new hosting solution is selected. I'm sorry about that. I'm sorry about yesterday. I would have addressed the issue sooner, but I am currently on the road on business in Austin, TX. As you know, we recently purchased our own server. We are in the process of consolidating all the EMTBravo websites onto this server from various webhosts and other servers. These forums are still on a shared hosting server. Due to a consistent growth in high resource usages, the webhost automatically locked us out. They temporarily moved us to a another server, but I will have to move this site over to the new dedicated EMTBravo server ASAP upon my return home. The move of this site may cause additional downtime to this site, which I will try to advise about before it happens, and will try to minimize the downtime. I thank everyone for their patience over the past few weeks. As you know, due to explosive growth, we have been experiencing several somewhat overwhelming IT problems which I am continuing to work on. All the issues are identified, and resolutions figured out, it just takes time and energy to implement them. We are also paving the way for future expansion and growth of the site.
