On my truck, the end of the five inch hose is connected to a valve that is starped to the back of the truck...Maybe a simple bungee chord is a simple solution.

The new minitor V is supposed to be built like the minitor II, more specifically the location of the internal antenna. Stored voice of 8 minutes on all bands.

What do you guys think of this? useful? practical? worth the $?

No not all houses have these systems. Apparently its even harder to retrofit a station for one of these things not because of the structure, but because of politics.

EBAY has it for $315.00 under search word "minitor". not sure if its still there though. this is the new one from motorola that is windows based not DOS based like the older format of the program. I will program the newer minitor IV's also. this kit will let you program minitor III and IV and the new minitor V. there is much more info email if interested.
