    Town of Greenburgh New York - Civil Defense Unit 445 part of GPD. Former Greenville FD Rescue 29 & Fairview FD Utility 7. Generator was used during Hurricane Irene to power an emergency shelter run by the Town of Greenburgh. Other photos of this vehicle were taken by x635 and posted a few weeks ago.

  18. August 30, 1954 - Police examine the wreckage of a plane which crashed in a field behind the nurses dormitory at Grasslands Hospital. The mangled wreckage was searched by Valhalla Fire Department members on the scene of this terrible accident. Two occupants were killed instantly according to the newspaper article.
