  1. Thats actually the 56 Maxim that was replaced with the 78 Maxim.....pretty much looked like a mini version of the 78. Was owned by a collector in Texas and recently from my understanding sold. It was the Show Truck for the 2006 IAFC Show.

And Yes Rob that was pretty much a sister truck to this one.

The 1978 is in this picture from an mid 1990's Ossining Parade.....

  3. Yeah wasn't to into this year with the exception of the 1st half and some of the commercials...csf hit alot of points but was it just me, what the hell was that pre game s***? To be honest weren't really that many good Commercial's either. Career Builders, Bud Light, Taco Bell really the only ones that were good........

  4. The Show was never THAT Great, but was a decent day trip, in the past two years it has def. dwindled. Also its very EMS oriented from the past few years. Talking to people today that went, the Deptford, NJ Rescue was pretty impressive. Might go tomorrow.......... Oh and by the way, Def. agree w/Car2267.....Harrisburg is one of the best shows going, along with FDIC and Baltimore

  5. Doesn't sound like a bad idea. Not every department obviously has the same issues or weak spots if you will. Having some formal training geared toward there specific issues or needs. In taking a recent class at Westchester it was a relatively small, but one of the best I have taken. It gave us the opportunity to be specific with some of are individual issues (which as we all now some really don't change from department to department), It made for a more interesting learning experience because its not straight out of a book, it was our home department issues. And the Instructor was excellent as well.
