  2. So how would a Seagrave 10 man cab fit into the firehouse, when it is larger than the Spartan Gladiator? My only guess would be it's not a raised roof.

And I always thought the E-One seemed a bit low, I thought that was for firehouse fit reason. It's been a year since I've been by Riverside Hose, but I thought I remember hearing something about it being renovated.

The garage door is 9'9". SG came in at 9'5" with a raised roof. As far as E-One is concerned, they could not build a truck to fit in the FH, As per their rep.

Spartan came in with a 10" raised roof to meet the specs. They put exception in it with a 8" raised roof to meet the height of the FH.

PEEKSKILL - A 21-year-old city man is due in court tomorrow, charged with sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl for at least a year, police said.

Steven LaFuente is scheduled to answer a felony count of first-degree criminal sexual act, Detective Sgt. Eric Johansen said.

LaFuente, of Highland Avenue, was arrested Friday by Detectives Kurt Buck and Todd Gallaher after an investigation that began when Officer Liz Folch took a complaint from the victim's family.

LaFuente, a Peekskill volunteer firefighter, was arraigned Monday and released on $50,000 bail. Johansen said LaFuente knows the girl and is accused of assaulting her at her Peekskill home. "The abuse took place over a period of time, at least a year," Johansen said. "We've been working with the Westchester County District Attorney's Office special-victims unit and the Child Advocacy Center at the Westchester Medical Center."

Fire Chief John Pappas said he learned of LaFuente's arrest this morning and will confer with his assistant chiefs before deciding on a course of action. He said the allegations should, in no way, reflect on the department or the dedication of Peekskill's many volunteers. "It has nothing to do with the department," he said. "From what I understand, these types of charges are brought against people in all walks of life. It has everything to do with him and nothing to do with the department."

In 2004, Frederick See, an ex-captain in the Peekskill Fire Department, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for molesting two underage girls in his Cortlandt home. See, who turns 40 tomorrow, is serving his sentence at the Fishkill state prison.

  4. I have a lot of knowledge about the Incident(s) and them some....

    but I won't go there.

You have a lot of knowledge about the incident (s), SO you should know that the SHPD had been head hunting for him as well as Miguel. You should also know that the only reasom that Paul had settled with the Village of SH was because of his Daughter. But it did come out that he was totally right what he did as a fire chief at the accident scene.

AS FOR THE GAS INCIDENT: HEAD HUNTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the Pirro ran with it.

  5. And I am extremely surprised how easily SOME people can jump to conclusions based on their views of fellow firefighters, without knowing the situation at all.

Well, I disagree. My experience with people is that it is all they do is jump to conclusions based on there views. But there views of people. People in general like to put pieces together that really should not be put into the puzzle at all.

  6. Everybody is Quick to Judge.... You people do not the circumstance behind evrything that happened that happened with the accident. Do you know the remorse and sorrow that Paul is going through? NO Do you know that he did and always will take full responsiblity for what Paul has done? NO Do you know that he admitted in making his mistakes? NO You people know nothing about Paul and should pass a comment about a person if you do not know him or what the FACTS are. Yes one fact he did have an accident and hurt a friend of his. You don't know how sorry and remorseful he has been since this has happened. If you do not him personnally, you do not know how Paul feels.
