Okay this has been a tough 2 days for him, Jimmy had his second treatment Tuesday morning when we got him back to our Condo he seemed ok, about 11:30 or so he seemed to get a fever so we called the doctor at proton and we took him to the ER at Loma Lind a where he was very restless he was developing a rash on his face , arms and chest so they drew bloods to check for infections they gave benadryl and that seemed to help rash fever was still up around 101.6 his heart rate was up as well , he had a ct scan with and without contrast and that showed blood in the brain fluid but it was not bleeding know so that floored us I hadnt felt that bad since the original diagnose. But anyways they took him up to a room gave him some antibiotics and some adavan to calm him down and that really straightned him out quick.He is getting antibiotic still his fever is normal his Heart rate is Great as are all his stats know so I dont know if he will be home for THanksgiving or in Hospital but he seems to be improving I guess one small step at a time. Please keep Jimmy in your thoughts and Prayers and Happy Thanksgiving To each and everyone of you. BE safe

Maybe it is time that just like the De con Trailers we get the state and county to fund more foam trailer for the county split them up fairly and lets get them done its great that they gave 1 (one ) to Fairview but thats still a nice ride to Northern West. and why add the extra time to an already crazy situation its time we start to work as a group to do it that is just my opinion it could work actually it needs to work

It could be worse,it could be a major ice storm, we could have no electricity for days waiting for nyseg to show up so we can clear a scene or worse yet con ed hey guys it could always be worse i would much rather deal with the snow, florida has hurricanes mid west tornados , calif and wrest coast eartquakes nothin is perfect

Hello Every one

Well we were supposed to leave today for Calif. but Jimmy boy had other plans he had very very mild seizures today so we took him to WCMC and they checked him out thoughly like they always do. They changed his Meds around and will be giving us some quick acting Meds to take with us to Calif. in case anything happens to him along the way. He is still scheduled to start MOnday we will leave Saturday Night instaed as long as they release him in A M but i am sure they will. His CAT scan showed no change since surgey which I think is a great thing considering he has had no treatments of any kind since middle of Sept. before last surgery.Also remember Turkey Night November 22 at Bedford FD 1900 till Turkeys run out. THANK YOU EVERYONE have all you around us as support has made a devastating problem such as this really proved what we are all about God Bless You Alland you have made us stonger .

Hello everyone

we received word today that our insurance company will be reimbersing us for our trip out to Calif. we will be leaving on the 12 th or 13th of November JImmy and Gina will be staying out there thru Dec. 31 he needs 35 treatments and they dont do them on the weekends so it takes them thru to then. No i do not want to leave them but i will and i will fly out and see them when ever possible. It pains me to think of not having them here for any of the holidays but in the same token i would like to have him cured or have it under control and get his life back to normal or a reasonable normal life but i can tell you all this I have learned a few things along the way with this and how helpful you all have been and continue to be.

hey guys while we are at it lets not only get everyone dispatched byone FD/EMS agency

but lets get all the base stations off 46.260 and lets start using all the alternate frequiences as well if we are going to talk about lets start doing it. As an Ex Chief that used to be dispatched by a PD and than switched to 60 while I was 2nd Asst. it really does work a lot easier having them there we all need to push the issue with your powers that be and get switched over to them. That is just my opinion though please no one take it personally

hello all

We are in Calif. with JImmy we have been here since early Thursday, had a doctors appt.Thursday to go over Jimmys history,boy was that tough having to re live all that, any ways we are glad to be here this will give him the best chance of recovery and hay what the heck Calif. isnt that bad of a place to be. He has an appt. on Monday for screening for intake and Tuesday he has an MRI and Cat scan for planning of treatments than we come home Weds. night for roughly 2 weeks. God Bless all just keep praying for Lil JIm .

JImmy Boy was accepted into Loma Linda Hospital for Proton treatments we are awaiting there phone call as to when we need to go out there still havent heard anything from Boston as of yet so we will be working on going to Calif. when i know more we will update you all.

Up date as of Sunday 10/10/04 Boston reviewed Jimmys Case but it was sent to wrong Dept. So after many phone calls on Friday she spoke to Mass. General and we will know buy Weds if they excepted him or not so we also sent all the Info out to other facility in Calif. So if Boston does not work out Calif. Should they have 4 treatment rooms where Boston only has one , Boy if we only had that Machine here in Westchester or at least in NY so any ways thats where we stand boy it is a long time until Weds any ways thats where we stand

Sept. 22nd the chemo therapy was not able to control the tumor so we are now going to be doing radiation we will be going to Boston to do this I do not know the date yet but I will keep you posted we have a website for him
