  1. Nice job Joe. Looks very professional.
  2. AT&T UVERSE is awesome. I made the switch after the last round of BS from Cablevision.
  3. I wonder if the fire department needs permission to put up a ladder to save this nutjob. Last time I checked, I pay property tax in Milford, not air and property tax. Just another one looking for their 15 minutes.

  10. Sorry was trying to put this under incident phots. Must have double clicked my mouse.
  11. The IAFF has long been a supporter of MDA, not the March of Dimes. They are the number one contributor to Muscular Dystrophy, a very worthwile cause that I have supported even before I became an IAFF member. I have never heard of any fundraising for the March of Dimes.
  12. Great video J. Haven't heard anything on the tactics yet.
  13. They called him Spot, but a better name would have been STEW. Yummy
  14. Tell that to the loud mouth vollies that are bashing the city Department, calling for an investigation. Investigate this...Asphalt shingles, abandoned warehouse with no utilities to it,30-40 mph winds, building of origin fully involved upon arrival....discuss.
  15. As I said, excuse me if my facts were incorrect, I was inside working. As far as run cards, I believe the point I was trying to make was that the Chief has no personal control over them, they are at 888. He can suggest, but it needs to be done internally at 911.
  16. So the run cards are in Glenbrook? Do they dispatch from there as well?
  17. Toned out or self dispatched? I heard it was the latter. Forgive me if my facts are screwed up but I was inside with my crew putting the fire out. I heard later that 45 signed on, and was turned around by the DC. Picking and chosing calls to respond to is Russian Roulette, just look at history with some automatics that turned into major incidents. As far as run cards, Chief Passero has nothing to do with the run cards. Why don't you aSK your inside man up there he can tell you. I will give Kudos to Belltown for getting out on all calls , but as PJ Debart said what are you getting out with? While lately it seems better, I remember arriving first due to a CO call in Belltown and two guys in a pickup truck dressed in Class A's. I am no expert but that is a poor response.PERIOD. It actually turned out to be a genuine CO emergency , and I ask, what were the guys in Class A's gonna do? And I do remember that Francis Ln job as well. I happened to be working @ E5 that night. NOw Monday morning quarterbacking won't help anything here, so I won't. While it has been said here numerous times, the general public has no idea what their fire coverage is. They call... a fire truck shows up. But we owe to all residents that when they call, they get a crew that is going to mitigate the problem as quickly and safely as possible.
  18. J TAC if you look a my post, it was a reply to the earlier post on this very thread. And all I did was report what the market did today. Lighten Up and save the Kool Aide for someone else.
  19. I don't know if you saw but the market dropped 486.01 God Bless and HELP Ameica
  20. What color is the sky in your world probie? If you want to share, what was so factually incorrect?
  21. I can tell you that it is a FACT that the Glenbrook volunteers have and still train with members of SFRD. Joe I believe you have hit the nail on the head when you said the volunteers are dug in due to PRIDE. In my humble opinion, which may mean nothing, I believe it is time to swallow the pride, and do whats RIGHT. TSULL good to see you bro.
  22. This fire happened at 9 PM while the homeowners were all awake. What would have happened if it were a few hours later while people were asleep? 3 firefighters? Are you kidding me? Could effective search and rescue be performed? Don't think so. The writing has been on the wall for some time, but with the total loss of a home and a miserable response by LRFD, someone should be held accountable.
  23. Put your money in the markets. There will be some very big profits to come. Obviously you need to do your homework, but some people are going to make a killing. Warren Buffett made 440,000,000 thats million, the first day after bailing out the company he bought out.
