Can you give us some more info? What is the price? When will they be breaking ground? It looks large, will this be combing any houses? What will be stationed there? Thanks.

I would consider Rye primary career.

Since you are in Lower Westchester was the dealer Garrison Fire or New England Fire?

Paterson is about 10 trucks behind us. They are the only other NYS dept on the list.I thought they were the ones, I love their Mack.

I think the AWD Edge would make a great Detective car for undercover operations and the price tag isnt bad.

All of our runs are fire or emergency calls since ems is handled locally.

I am very happy for the members of Rescue 3 but the style I am not sure of yet.

In 37 years that I have with PCFD we have never had mutal ad with Greenwich and I don't see it coming soon. There East Port station is a few blocks from our downtown and it's like its one hundred miles, plus that is still years away as they shot down the planning stage agian in this year budget.Ang, I remember hearing sometime back that if and when the King St station ever opened that they might be included on the second alarm response. They wouldnt be on the initial response because they were not in one of the airports actual fire districts boundaries. Maybe someone else has some up to date news on this.

This is one of the reasons why we purchased a Smeal in Port Chester. Our rig has an automatic leveling system and also can be set up manually for those tough setups.

Sort of like the Rural Metro mess? Those are BAD words.

If it is, that sounds way too expensive. I can see a basic rear mount for that price, but not an engine with all the bells.
-
Can someone clarify for me the birds and where they are stationed? Is the one out of Valhalla now obsolete or is it in the process of being terminated?
-
I now a couple of years ago they were looking to replace their E-One rear mount.

StatFlight called for a byciclist struck in Mahopac near Park Ford on RT 6.

The H2 uses the Tahoe frame and its V8, the H3, uses the Colorado/Canyon frame and its 5 cylinder engine.I was thinking Tahoe but typed pickup. Thanks for the correction. I guess I shouldnt type and talk on the phone at the same time!

Looks nice and it's great to see a Dept. putting seized vehicles to use for good. I however would have used 4" letters and stated "Seized in Drug Bust" so that people don't think the spent the money to buy it.I still remember people complaining about Empire Ambulance buying the H2's for Putnam county, and they are a private company.
I wonder the upkeep cost compared to a Tahoe or Expedition.
The H2 uses the Chevy pickup platform and drive train with a different body on it. Its really nothing special except for the looks.

Was this plan in effect before they bought the new 11ft ladder?

I personally work with Commissoner Conners from a fleet perspective and in my opinion, he does a great job and is very personable towards the maintenence staff. Like with any employment situation, there will always be personel who dont like their commanding officer.

In which town? I think I remember a Dennys used to be near Walmart.

Is that every apparatus in town? Will there still be other stations staffed or will they all be closed?
